Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) has an opening for a DOORS Database Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA. The selected candidate will serve as a Requirements Database Administrator for the Systems Engineering Requirements and Verification Sub-IPT on one or more programs. They will manage, extend, architect, develop, deploy, and maintain the DOORS Requirements Database to meet program needs over the program lifecycle. Key challenges include: 1) handling multiple related baselines 2) improving multi-level synchronization processes 3) expanding content sharing with other databases and models hosted in other tools 4) defining and documenting definition, control, management, and use procedures of the Requirements Database and its attributes 5) updating the architecture and schema as program needs grow, and 6) keeping the program schema consistent yet flexible across all levels. This position will extend database metrics definition, capture, and presentation as well as define and align change management implementation.
