Job Description Jack Henry & Associates is seeking an experienced Software Engineer (C#/.NET) to join the Ensenta team, who is the leader in cloud-based solutions. In this role, you will participate in the technical design and implementation supporting existing applications. You will be responsible for front and back end development and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience with JavaScript and SQL Server and will have the ability to work closely with QA automation teams. We let clients make easy image-based deposits from a mobile phone, web banking application or ATM.This position can be hired in Redwood City, CA or Allen, TX.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 5 years of experience with C#/.NET development

Experience with or knowledge of JavaScript and SQL Server.

Experience with or knowledge of .NET framework 4.0 or higher.

Experience with or knowledge of object orientated programming.

Experience with code versioning tools Git or TFS.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Ability to write reusable C# libraries.

Experience with Angular.JS.

Experience writing unit tests.

Familiarity with continuous integration.

Understanding of front and back end development.

Experience utilizing modern application frameworks.

Experience implementing automated testing platforms and partnering with QA.

Exposure to automation testing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Completes product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.

Performs system analysis and programming activities which require research.

Provides technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until the retirement of the application.

Provides reasonable task and project cost/effort estimates.

Ensures timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production.

Develops and tests applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.

Creates required technical documentation.

Adheres to documented departmental and corporate standards. May participate in the definition and documentation of standards.

Collaboratively works with QA team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Collaboratively works with customer support team to resolve or diagnose defects.

Assists in training and mentoring less experienced peers.
