- Ensuring Wordpress sites are updated regularly with plugins and core Wordpress updates.
- Ensure sites are legally compliant and that our cookie compliance solutions are regularly updated and tested.
- Oversee Wordpress user provisioning for various stakeholders via OKTA
- Managing API connections to the website (ex: updating the API connection from our recruiting software to our recruiting webpage)
- Oversee website development workflow across a portfolio of websites (Primarily Wordpress but with a few sites using other frameworks) This may require establishing processes around code review, github approvals, etc.
- Collaborate closely with our external web development agency to ensure a seamless development workflow.
- Be the primary point of contact for website infrastructure management. (Wordpress & PHP updates, plugin updates, OKTA integration, etc.
- Be the primary point of contact for managing and updating our cookie compliance solution, OneTrust. (In conjunction with Google Tag Manager.
- Be the primary point of contact for security updates to our web environments. (Ex: content security policy development, hsts)
- Assist various teams in A/B testing, and will be a primary point of contact for Google Optimize for multiple web properties.
- Help troubleshoot development issues and help fix bugs as they arise.
- Collaborate with our agency partner on front-end development.
- Assist with DNS and domain management
- Expert knowledge of Wordpress backend development including theme development, plugin development, site architecture and backend development
- Experience in front-end development. (HTML / CSS / Javascript, etc)
- Extensive experience with standard development workflows, creating staging environments, working with Github, etc.
- Knowledge of website best practices
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Ability to build relationships and credibility with business leads and external partners
- Organized, methodical and detail-oriented, with outstanding analytical and obstacle solving skills
- Able to lead multiple results-oriented tasks, to prioritize effectively, and to accomplish all duties within the time available.
- Strong ability to translate discussions with stakeholders into actionable items
