Senior Web/React Developer for one of its clients in Redwood City, CA / REMOTEJob Title: Senior Web/React DeveloperSummary:The Senior Web Developer is part of the Software Engineering team. You'll roll with Product, Design, and other Engineers to empower and delight users through code. You’re comfortable owning the in-browser experience (UI/UX). You'll advocate for Frontend, translate product vision into software design, and possess the technical mastery to bring UI/UX to life. You will define and apply modern web development and engineering best practices to drive quality: of code and user experience.Required Skills:- 5+ years of Web Development experience
- Strong experience in webapps (React) and data visualization
- Strong CS/SWE fundamentals
- Modern Web UI technical and domain expertise
- Must have: HTML5, S/CSS, JS/ES6+, mobile-first/responsive; cross browser, React, Material-UI, d3.js, charting libs
- Toolchain: npm, webpack, linters, testing frameworks
- Best Practices: page speed/delivery opto, i18n|l10n|a11y, network/http opto, unit tests
- Proficiency with
- API’s (consumption and design), backend workflows and integration points
- Experience with server side scripting language (python, ruby)
- Experience with Test Automation, CI/CD, Git workflows and source control.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or its equivalent with relevant experience
