Job Type : Contract to Hire Location : Santa Ana, California Pay : Competitive Pay Job Description Ensure the quality of our software by contributing to the software development process, helping to define requirements, and utilizing automation tools. You will be working closely with product managers and software engineers to implement and execute automated, as well as manual, testing to help identify issues across multiple integrated systems.
What you will be doing:- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality testing efforts.
- Develop, document, implement, and monitor automated regression tests for each feature under development
- Provide insight into test requirements, design, and implementation within your area
- Work as part of the dev team to refine features and stories helping to drive quality into all aspects of the product
- Act as a customer advocate, committed to delivering quality throughout the company
- 3-5 years of experience working as a Quality Test Engineer
- Experience working with distributed teams
- Experience testing Mobile a plus
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end web application Automation testing tools (TestCafe)
- Experience with different testing frameworks and tools (Selenium)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot, research, and work through complex problems
- Experience load testing applications
- Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and Test Methodologies from project definition to post-deployment documentation
- Demonstrated knowledge of testing Web and API interfaces
- Experience C# and Javascript is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
