The client is building a software defined networking platform to enable their internal teams to easily establish network connectivity to their various data centers and cloud environments via an automated, self-service process.A senior DevOps consultant is needed to support this initiative. This resource will be a key member of the project team responsible for implementing automated infrastructure deployment to AWS using Terraform. He/she will also have strong experience in TCP/IP networking and routing, and be expected to provide guidance and best practices on design and implementation of AWS networking services. This role will require a mix of direct customer interaction, technical design, hands-on implementation, troubleshooting, and creation of documentation deliverables.The following activities will be performed by this resource:
- Provide Terraform usage and deployment on AWS
- Experience-based recommendations for modeling Terraform for providing extensible infrastructure services
- Work as a member of the customer team
- Provide hands-on work writing Terraform-driven infrastructure services in customer accounts
- Assist in deployment/upgrade of existing infrastructure services using Terraform
- Contribute to Terraform-related team documentation
