And schedule will vary depending on business needs.Job Duties & Responsibilities Perform all department functions as neededFill in for other leads when needed Plan and coordinate shift activities to ensure adherence to all DC procedures and documentation set forthAssist in planning, prioritizing, and communicating shift directives to ensure efficiency and accuracy for all inbound related activities Ensure that all shift personnel receive proper training, skill development per company guidelinesRecommend opportunities for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of associates for increased shift contributionAchieve and maintain compliance with company and federally mandated regulations regarding safety, OSHA, HazMat and DOT Monitor and help coordinate execution of SLA, work flow, and any escalated client requests daily Reinforce policy and procedure compliance Communicate progress to supervisorDispatch work as needed to balance labor with work volume.Follow-up with associates on performance throughout the day, coach and recognize where appropriate Provide direction in a professional manner Follow all safety guidelines and performs in a safe and careful mannerFill in for supervisor when needed All other duties assigned by the supervisor/manager What skills do you need?
