Location: Richmond, CA

Environment: Distribution Center

Pay Rate: $17.00

Shift & Hours: Full Time and Part Time opportunities are available! (specific shifts will be discussed during the interview process)

GardaWorld Security Services is looking for Security Officers to fulfill different assignments for our clients.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Checking trucks in and out of the locations, as well as directing inbound loads to designated lot and door locations
  • Checking employees and guests in and out of buildings
  • Handing out visitor packets
  • Checking that trailer numbers and seal numbers are correct and installing the seal numbers are correct and installing the seal
  • Monitoring refrigeration, fire, and security system panels/systems for alarms and direct alarm incidents to the proper manager for immediate resolution
  • Roving patrols and perimeter walk at client locations
  • Observe and report activities at an assigned site
  • Respond quickly to critical situation
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds
  • Other duties as assigned by GardaWorld and client contract requirements

Qualifications:
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
  • A valid California BSIS Guard Card and 8 hours of BSIS training completion is preferred
  • Pass a background screening which includes, criminal background checks (local, state, and federal) and drug test

Education:
  • Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
