The individual hired for this position will provide support for our government customer, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD).This is your opportunity to work in technically advanced, positive, and productive environment.Job skills and activities:- Gather and manage customer IT requirements.
- Support design decision making across NAWCWD Earthquake Recovery IPT projects.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations by reviewing and assessing past design decisions and approved strategies. Evaluate technical decisions made prior to this support that are relevant to the modernization of the NAWCWD IT infrastructure.
- Provide oversight of moderately complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects as well as any accreditation, policy, and guidance documentation as necessary.
- Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology.
