We’re working on smarter grids, cleaner energy and tools to help people manage energy more efficiently.About (Strategic Planning & Power Supply):The Strategic Planning & Power Supply organization is responsible for driving business strategy across the company and ensuring the integrated planning to support California’s clean energy transformation is closely aligned with the company’s procurement and dispatch of generation resources. Strategic Planning & Power Supply includes strategy, resource planning, energy procurement and management, and the operations of SCE’s power generation fleet.Position OverviewThe successful candidate will provide advanced administrative and project support to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Strategic Planning & Power Supply for Southern California Edison.The position is responsible for performing advanced administrative and secretarial functions as well as special projects. The position requires collaborative partnership with officers, executives, and executive and administrative assistants across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining confidentiality of sensitive and confidential corporate information.Typical Responsibilities:

Coordinate executive-level meetings.

Interface with all levels of personnel, including senior management, external company executives, and their assistants.

Update reports and distribution lists.

Complete travel arrangements.

Process timekeeping, expense reports, credit card reconciliations, and office invoices.

Assist with onboarding activities for new hires in the Strategic Planning & Power Supply organization.

Review and route incoming and outgoing correspondence ensuring prioritization, review and response as appropriate.

Compose correspondence and other materials as requested.

Draft, proo, edit, and reformat presentations and reports (including charts and tables).

Coordinate large-scale executive-level meetings and events in excess of 100 people.

Maintain workflow when the Senior Vice President is out of the office.

Handle multiple assignments with minimal supervision.

Handle highly confidential and sensitive information.

Maintain calendar and office supplies, ensuring office aesthetics, and answer and route telephone calls appropriately.

Maintain a safety conscious work environment by following Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.

Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

Five years of experience performing advanced administrative, secretarial, and clerical functions.

Three years of experience supporting a director level or higher.

Experience and comfort with technology and with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience managing executive level calendars, including coordinating, scheduling, and planning meetings, appointments, video conferencing, and using SharePoint Libraries.

Experience coordinating executive-level meetings (tasks include setting-up video conferencing, conference calls, conference rooms, and presentations).

Experience organizing a heavy workload, being proactive, creative, working well under pressure, and performing tasks/assignments with minimal supervision and a high attention to detail and quality of work.

Experience working effectively and accurately on diverse and concurrent assignments in an environment with frequent interruptions, changing priorities, and tight operating deadlines.

Experience processing timekeeping, expense reports, credit card reconciliations, office invoices, and other related documents/activities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to convey a positive and professional image.

Collaborative teamwork and leadership abilities.

Ability to adapt to and thrive in a quiet shared executive work space.

Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information.

Ability to follow Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.
