Job Title: Network Automation Engineer

Locations: Rosemead, CA

Duration: 6+ Months Contract to Hire

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure services on all CISCO LAN/Backbone hardware including: Routers/Switches and other network appliances or monitoring tools.
  • Assist with network performance tuning and administration.
  • Provision and deploy new CISCO routers, switches in the Network.
  • Document operational processes and procedures.
  • Resolve operational issues involving all components of CISCO based network infrastructure.
  • Prepare and maintain up to date documentation for configuration of deployed solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and identify root causes of network incidents.
  • Adhere to all aspects of compliance requirements for networking devices.
  • Participate in production support and in on-call duties.
  • Ability to travel when required within Rosemead service territory to restore networking devices.

Minimum Qualifications:Five (5) years’ of experience in Network Services performing Operational activities; incident recovery and analysis; project support and providing Operational recommendations.Plus two (2) years Networking Tools Administration on NetScout, NetMri, Broadcom Tools (Spectrum, Performance Center, NFA), CISCO DNA Center, Splunk, or other similar network management tools.Hands on knowledge of networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF and EIGRP, Traffic Policies Configurations and Netflow Configurations.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • CISCO Certified Network Associate
  • CISCO Certified Network Professional
  • Development of Automation Routines and Operationalizing of such
  • Exposure to scripting languages such as Ansible, Python, Perl
