Controller

DescriptionRobert Half is partnering with a innovative company in the Roseville area that is looking to add a Controller to the team. The Controller will report to the CFO and manage an accounting team. For additional details about this position, please send your resume to Lisa.Cole@roberthalf.com.Responsibilities will include:

Manage the monthly accounting close process to ensure all transactions are completed timely and accurately.

Prepare accounting entries and balance sheet reconciliations including multi-currency accounts and intercompany transactions.

Perform financial consolidations and prepare monthly financial statements including statement of cash flows.

Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and all journal entries are completed in a timely manner.

Maintain monthly close calendar and standard journal entry control list.

Research the proper accounting treatment for financial transactions as needed. Establish and monitor proper accounting methods and policies.

Coordinate and complete annual audits.

RequirementsRequirements:

BS degree in Accounting, finance or related field

CPA license highly desired

8+ years experience as a Controller or Director of Accounting

Proven experience supervising general accounting functions

Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
