Placer County is accepting applications for an Information Technology Specialist. The current Information Technology Specialist vacancy is at the Placer County District Attorney’s Office, with primary duties providing effective specialized information technology support for network systems and business applications. The primary position assignments include troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving system/application related requests including specialties such as Help Desk, Web, Audio/Video editing, Court support and department specific applications.This position requires the handling of highly sensitive and confidential information, such as medical reports, criminal histories, and crime reports involving pending investigations. The incumbent is expected to effectively communicate and interact with deputy district attorneys and law enforcement agencies whose mission is to seek justice for crime victims and those involved in the criminal justice process.
