We are looking for an Accounting Manager will will be hands-on in the general ledger accounting and month-end preparation of financial statements. Our ideal candidate will be a good manager with the experience and personality to mentor and train staff, provide performance management and timely feedback, and ensure that deadlines are met. Public Accounting/CPA is a plus and we will consider a Manager level candidate coming from a CPA firm.
4+ years of progressive accounting experience with 1+ years managing staff. Will have 4 direct reports
Advanced Excel. Experience with an ERP accounting system and system implementation experience a plus.
Keys:Good Manager- good at coaching, performance management, training, giving feedback, holding team to deadlines
Strong GAAP. Ability to own Month-end, financial statement prep, fixed assets, GL all preferred.
Warm personality. Collaborative. Ideally can work independently on their work while contributing to team culture.
