Staff-Level Environmental Engineer or Geologist
Sierra West is seeking an environmental engineer or geologist in our Sacramento area office to work with our team on a diverse range of hazardous waste remediation and civil engineering projects.
Responsibilities will include:
Performing light O&M activities
Conducting soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling
Oversee construction and subcontractors
Preparing work plans
Designs and bid specifications
Conducting investigative studies
Evaluating data
Preparing technical reports
Minimum requirements include:
B.S. in Geology, or Civil/Environmental Engineering
2 to 5 years of industry experience
PE, PG, or working toward professional license
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Proficiency with MS Office products
Strong communication and writing skills
Enthusiasm to work collaboratively in a team environment
Experience is REQUIRED
Prefer someone with field experience as well as office capabilities. Please include a cover letter with resume.
