Description:The Electrical Professional Engineer will: perform site investigationsprepare calculationsdrawings and design specificationsdetailing the layout and materials for all electrical requirements/systems including site utility requirements (back-up generatorsoverhead power lines – 12kV, switchgears, etc.) and building electrical requirements/systemsIn addition, the electrical engineer will design and prepare deliverable drawings for the electrical systems. The electrical engineer shall prepare required calculations for systems. He/she will prepare specifications, requisitions, and bid analysis/purchase orders for the materials covered on the drawings. The electrical engineer shall coordinate and provide input with the architect, structural engineer, mechanical engineer, and civil engineer to provide a fully coordinated design package.BS in Electrical Engineering is required. Six + years minimum of consulting experience with an electrical engineering firm required. REVIT/CADD/Electrical Engineering software experience is also required. REQUIRED SKILLS:BS Electrical Engineering degree; Electrical Engineering license obtained from any State but can get reciprocity in California within 6 months.
