If you are ready to help our clients and project teams succeed, we would love to meet you!Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a senior Project Manager, you will provide both management and technical leadership and coordinate the integration of office operations and information systems to build modern enterprise-scale cloud native applications.Your Role and Responsibilities:Direct the activities of software applications maintenance and development.
Manage the development, installation, and maintenance of computer programs for business applications.
Direct and coordinate activities related to the design, development, and implementation of software operating systems.
Perform system design in complex mainframe technical environments and monitors the implementation and configuration of development tools using mainframe, Cobol, JCL, Java, Forte, Microsoft, Informatica, Business Object, SQL Server, Oracle, and WTX programming.
Stay current with Medicaid/Medicare regulations, standards, and processes.
Use MMIS experience to plan, conduct, and coordinate business programming of application activities.
Establish programming standards and program documentation requirements.
Review status of system application and prepare recommendations for improvements.
Manage the development and implementation of web applications.
Manage the technical programming and database development activities related to the organization's website.
Screen, interview, and hire applicants for maintenance, development, and operational positions.
Assist in updating procedure manuals and documentation.
Manage the day-to-day activities and personnel of the maintenance, development, and operational staff.
Ensure timely completion and integrity of all jobs in order to meet or exceed Service-Level Agreements.
Develop batch jobs and online screens using COBOL and CICS both on an ad hoc basis and canned schedules
Develop various automated tools by using REXX, Clist, ISPF macros, WinAutomation etc., to reduce the manual reporting task.
Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseAt least 7+ years of experience in software application development of medium to large scale computer systems.
At least 7+ years of experience in leadership and project/program management.
At least 7+ years of experience in delivering high levels of client service.
At least 7 + years of experience in controlling activities through subordinate managers and direct supervisors; developing, administrating and controlling the budget of the organization.
At least 7+ years of experience in evaluating performance of subordinates; administering compensation and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
Good verbal & written communication skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseAt least 8+ years of experience in Mainframe programming and related technologies
At least 2+ years of experience leading agile teams as a Squad Lead or Senior Developer
At least 5+ years of experience with event-driven architecture
At least 5+ years of experience with working with Product Owners/Managers
At least 5+ years of experience with Extreme Programming or SCRUM
At least 5+ years of experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
