Senior IT PMO Director

Responsible for leading the portfolio and project management practices to conduct portfolio analysis to provide an accurate and clear understanding of IT Division’s prioritized projects. Establish policies and standard processes for projects within IT to ensure that programs and projects meet organization goals and requirements.

Mandatory Requirements:
  • Proven ability to lead and/or manage program managers, project managers, and business analysts directly and indirectly.
  • Extensive understanding of multiple project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Strong strategy development and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to delegate and oversee assignments to ensure successful and timely completion
  • Understanding of how programs relate to other business strategies and initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of service delivery and business relationship management principles.
  • Experienced in leading change management activities and managing their impact across multiple units or departments.
  • Experience implementing and supporting Service Now for Portfolio and Project management, and resource allocation and time tracking.
  • Proven expertise in process improvement methodologies, including: Lean Six Sigma, Process Mapping
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present technical topics to large groups
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired:
  • Masters Degree in business administration, information technology, information systems, project management, or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in enterprise IT Applications and Infrastructure sufficient for strategic planning, technology assessment and guidance
  • Experience in the management of ongoing technology infrastructure acquisition and expansion, to include the identification and integration of emerging technologies.
