Our client is looking to hire a fulltime, Sr. LAMP Stack Developer to join a small team and eager to contribute in multiple areas working onsite in Sacramento.

This Full Stack Web Software Developer will take ownership of web applications used by clients and staff, and to deliver and manage existing and new Internet products. The ideal candidate has a passion for building maintainable and scalable applications, solving problems, and delighting customers and business stakeholders.

The application is evolving from a monolith to a system of distributed services, forming a suite of independent features that function in combination and as standalone modules. Our existing codebase is built on a LAMP stack with a homegrown framework and a User Interface that is currently built on the UIkit Framework and jQuery Library. New services are being written in PHP and are connecting to a MySQL Database. This is a query driven application and employs advance querying technics against a vast database schema. We are seeking a person experienced in full stack development and system architecture.

Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in PHP (LAMP) development
  • MySQL (Proficiency - must be able to read and write advanced queries and perform complex reporting and manipulation)
  • UIKit (Proficient)
  • Vanilla JavaScript (Experienced)
  • jQuery (Experienced)
  • HTML/CSS
  • Experience designing distributed systems

Preferred experience with:
  • Ubuntu/Linux OS
  • JetBrains IDE (PHPStorm)
  • PhpMyAdmin
  • Test Project
