We are looking for an IHSS worker/supervisor.
$20 an hour, 15-20 hours per week.
You will be paid for IHSS that you work through IHSS, your supervising duties will be paid out of pocket at a higher rate. We currently have two IHSS workers whom are caring for an elderly couple.
The mother (65 years old) has mental health issues and has difficulty walking, her main needs are being bathed at least three times a week, being taken to various medical appointments, ensuring she takes her proper medications and that her medications are refilled on a timely basis.
The husband (70 years old) in the household is mentally delayed, he acts more like a child. His main needs are assuring he showers at least once a week and that he changes clothes daily in addition to being brought to medical appointments.
The regular IHSS duties also need to be either taken care of, or ensured they are complete, they include changing the bed sheets. cleaning the rooms, meal prep, emptying trash, ensuring needed repairs are taken care of (you are not responsible for repairs, just let myself know what repairs are needed and we will contact people to complete the repairs, you will just need to coordinate).
You will be responsible for supervising other IHSS providers and ensuring that the other workers are adequately doing their job.

Folks with caregiving experience, who are IHSS certified and have prior experience working as a supervisor or in an office job strongly preferred.
