About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a strong hands-on background in both residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and up to quality standards. This role requires a mix of fieldwork and project oversight, working closely with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and city building inspectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning to completion.

Manage job sites, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with local regulations.

Work hands-on when necessary to assist with construction tasks and troubleshoot issues.

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers.

Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documents.

Track project timelines, schedules, and budgets to meet deadlines.

Conduct site inspections and resolve any on-site construction challenges.

Ensure all work meets building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and city officials as needed.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of hands-on construction management experience in residential and commercial projects.

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

- Experience with permits, building codes, and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.

- Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams.

- Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.

- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites.
