Housekeepers provide services to our residents in their homes and patient rooms, as well as providing service in public areas of our campus. These services include:Changing linens and making beds in all rooms, as needed.Cleaning resident rooms, offices, and common areas using cleaning chemicals and disinfectantsCleaning and sanitize floors, equipment, and furniture according to infection-control policiesOperating various types of cleaning equipmentHandling and dispose of waste using standard proceduresMaintaining all cleaning equipment and supplies according to prescribed standardsMonitoring supply inventoriesMust have a passion for service and strong commitment to caring for seniorsMust have at least 1 year of professional experience in a housekeeping roleMust have a strong customer-service focus and pleasant demeanorMust be able to work with disinfecting chemicals and equipment including bleachMust be able to read, write, and speak English in a manner sufficient to perform all job functionsMust be able to work on weekends and holidays.
