We produce captive bred amphibians for the pet trade.
This is a part-time position, estimated to be +/-20 hours weekly (with potential for more hours if desired).
Primary responsibilities:
Carefully packing live amphibians for orders
Cleaning amphibian enclosures (wearing latex gloves), filling water dishes, etc.
Feeding amphibians
Miscellaneous projects
90% of all responsibilities take place in an air-conditioned/heated office spacethis is not a "dirty" job. We work to keep things clean at all times.
A successful candidate needs to have excellent attention to detail. Each amphibian must be inspected for imperfections in a matter of seconds, prior to being packed. Monday is generally the busiest day of the week for us, and is a mandatory work day.
