Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Shift: 8:30AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
We are a busy local print and mail production facility, located in West Sacramento seeking a dependable and organized Shipping & Fulfillment Associate to join our production team. This role is responsible for packaging, labeling, and shipping completed print jobs while maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely delivery to our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience using shipping software and logistics systems, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, package, and label finished print jobs for shipment or delivery.
- Verify orders against job tickets and packing slips to ensure accuracy before shipment.
- Coordinate with internal departments (production, mailing, bindery) to confirm job completion and shipping requirements.
- Load, unload, and move materials using pallet jacks or hand trucks.
- Monitor and restock shipping supplies (boxes, labels, tape, etc.) as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with inventory management, local deliveries, and warehouse organization as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, fulfillment, or warehouse operations, ideally in a printing or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow order specifications accurately.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50–75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
ANY PRINTING / VOLUME PRINTING EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS
