High volumne auto and truck dealer looking for an additional title processing clerk to add to our title department.
Work responsibilitis will include - receiving titles, collecting bills of sales, and supporting documentation from sellers. Estimating vehicle registration fee's, verifying smog certificates, and doing online registration printouts using a online reporting software. Processing retail sale paperwork to both retail and wholesale customers; processing online report of sales using dealer software as well as temp tags using DMV electronic temp tag process.
In addition, the Title Clerk will maintain file documentation, update customers on file status, and maintain accurate records of vehicle titling within company guidelines. Having front counter cashier skills, and customer service ability is an added bonus.
Applicants must have previous expereinece as a title or registration clerk, and have the following skills.
Efficiently and accurately identify/analyze vehicle title/ownership documents.
Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
Process vehicle titles in accordance with state guidelines.
Research missing and/or incorrect title paperwork and determine proper resolve in a timely manner.
Communicate with customers via email or verbally to handle title issues daily.
Build relationship and develop professional rapport with DMV and customers.
Minimum Requirements:
- HS diploma.
- Two years customer service experience.
- One year vehicle title processing.
- Computer proficiency (MS Office Word / Suite).
- Sales Person License
