Clinical Application Professional 4 - Epic Telehealth Location: Sacramento, CA Direct Hire/Permanent/FTE Responsibilities

Provides leadership and performs a variety of duties relating to the Clinical Information Systems applications related to Epic Telehealth applications, programs, workflow and goals. Responsibilities include: Providing leadership and serving as technical resource to the Epic Telehealth Application team; Designing, developing, testing, implementing, and evaluating clinical information systems for the organization; Participating in planning, developing, training, implementation, and evaluation of information systems to support clinical and operational telehealth practice and ensure development, evaluation, and ongoing support for all components of the program.

Required Qualifications Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) build and configuration. Certified in EpicCare Ambulatory, Mychart, Inpatient Clinical Documentation, or similar modules. Experience working with multiple clinical information systems or system implementation teams for complex projects and/or application development. Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of clinical practices and principles. Experience with methods and tools to the systems development life cycle as related to clinical informatics. Demonstrated ability to gather information from multiple sources and analyze applicability and appropriateness and develop an efficient workflow and subsequent computerized process. Experience with designing and monitoring technology-enabled organizational change. Experience with quality improvement principles, practices, and tools into system design. Experience with coordinating system development and implementation with relevant clinical operations initiatives and informatics projects. Experience with advanced application of adult learning principles and clinical system design standards. Experience with organizational strategies, business operations, and end-user requirements to develop system design and training projects. Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and change management skills to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships. Proficient in office automation software (word processing, spreadsheets, visual presentation, etc.) Bachelor's degree in healthcare, information technology or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in an academic institution or large integrated health system. Experience working with clinical information systems or system implementation teams for complex projects and/or application. Experience with management, information system trends, and professional practice standards.

Special Requirements Epic certifications in at least one of the following applications: Ambulatory, MyChart, Inpatient Clinical Documentation Successfully complete training or certifications as required by hiring manager. Some travel may be required for training or certification Travel in the Northern California region may be required. Reliable transportation necessary for off-site visits. Mileage and travel expenses will be reimbursed per client Policy. Occasional out of state travel may be required to attend training. Several years' experience as an Epic system analyst, performing system configurations, testing and deployment. This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment.
