System Administrator, Full-time- Rancho Cordova, CA Hybrid Summary: This position will be responsible for the implementation of Clinical and non-Clinical Imaging application projects. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership serving as an analytical and technical resource to various technology teams Serves as a design, implementation, support and project team member for enterprise and departmental systems as they relate to imaging services.
  • Support multiple health system PACS, and acquisition modalities in areas of analytical, application and hardware support for implementation, integration, maintenance, and enhancement.
  • Provide analytical and technical expertise to the workflow processes of clinical imaging services and will interface with a wide variety of staff and clinicians throughout Health Systems along with outside vendors and other facilities.
  • The incumbent provides, under general direction, advanced level hardware, software and systems support for the various image capture archive and analytics systems including a Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA), Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), DICOM conforming systems and enterprise image viewer applications.
  • Complete workflow analysis in relation to PACS, imaging applications, acquisition devices and Imaging Information systems incorporating findings in documentation and training of personnel.
  • Incumbent will provide service in the area of project management, analysis, design, implementation, and support of various types of Imaging Information Systems, IS integration, system administration, staff, and faculty training. Incumbent must be able to exercise independent decision-making and is expected to complete work in an organized manner.
Required Skillsets:
  • 3-5 years of experience in the related field.
  • Experience leading information system projects in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience providing leadership, analytical and technical direction to project team members to ensure proper implementation of tasks in a timely fashion.
  • Experience with analysis, build, Implementation, and support of healthcare information imaging systems.
  • Experience working with clinical information systems and systems implementation teams.
  • Experience working with interfaced and integrated multi-vendor applications
  • Experience directing, educating and mentor projects and operational team in technical design, support and build of applications
  • Experience planning, implementing, and maintaining Ophthalmology Imaging Systems, including but not limited to:-Topcon Harmony, Topcon ImageNet, Zeiss Forum and Haag-Streit Eyesuite
  • Experience working with HealthCare IT as an Ophthalmology Systems Administrator
  • Experience with analysis, build, Implementation, and support of healthcare information imaging systems.
