We are hiring for a Reptile Care Technician position in a reptile breeding facility located in Rocklin, California.

The duties of the Reptile Care Technician will include the following:

1. Feeding and watering of reptiles

2. Cleaning cages

3. Assistance with rack building

4. Egg collection and setting up new hatchlings

5. Inventory management

6. General cleaning and sterilizing

REQUIREMENTS FOR REPTILE CARE TECHNICIAN

Experience keeping and/or breeding reptiles is necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience working with leopard geckos, fat tail geckos, or western hognose snakes, but that is not required. Candidates must be hard working with the ability to follow standard operating procedures. Candidates must have the ability to pay close attention to details. Other helpful qualities would be an understanding of general genetics and morphs and some experience with photographing live animals. Hours for this job are 20 to 40 hours per week, and hours are flexible between 8AM and 5PM (Monday-Friday). Pay will be determined based on experience and will start between $12 and $14 per hour with an opportunity for a raise at 3 months. Health benefits are available for full time employees.
