Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to join our growing team located in Sacramento. The ideal candidate will involve a range of tasks, including driving sales, ensuring efficient operations, and contributing to the overall success of the business. Experience in fence installation or construction is desired
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Support:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leads, and potential customers
Collaborate with the yard manager to develop and implement effective sales strategies and achieve collective sales targets
2. Client Interaction:
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers (e.g., home builders, contractors) through effective communication and exceptional customer service
Conduct site visits and consultations to understand customer needs and provide appropriate services
3. Quoting and Proposal Development:
Prepare accurate and detailed project quotes based on client specifications and requirements
4. Order Processing and Coordination:
Manage the end-to-end order and sales process, from order inception to project completion
Assist in preparing trucks for job execution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Coordinate with internal teams, including operations and installation, to ensure seamless project execution
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales or a related field, preferably in construction or fencing
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
Commitment to safety standards and procedures
Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
