Position Description As a senior DevOps engineer, you will be working with Architects, Product managers, developers and leadership team to deliver highly reliable CI/CD pipeline and Infrastructure for all of the organization s cloud platforms.
The responsibilities would include design, implementation and validation of key technologies that support the service pipelines and infrastructure. Additionally, as technical lead this engineer would be responsible for the overall technical direction and delivery of Infrastructure as Code mandatesEssential Duties & Summary of Responsibilities: Plan for, recommend, and execute upon major infrastructure and architecture decisions Maintain business-critical infrastructure through logging, monitoring, metrics-collection, and alerting. Implement software security best-practices such as the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), SOC2, etc Automate the deployment of applications using Infrastructure as Code tools against Azure Cloud Collaborate with software teams to design solutions to meet application, security, and infrastructure requirements. Collaborate with other engineers to ensure successful project delivery. Identify and facilitate new business growth opportunities. Become an expert in our software application, maintaining an all-encompassing systems-level awareness, being able to articulate various aspects of the software stack and their purpose. Automated cloud infrastructure setup and maintenance using Terraform Automated deployment expertise of both applications and infrastructure (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) Ability to participate and contribute to architectural concepts of the application/services Champion for infrastructure automation, secure infrastructure, reliability and observability of cloud deliveries As a senior technical member of the team. You will be required to train and mentor other DevOps engineers Familiarity with Agile and streamline delivery processes Working Knowledge of Kubernetes and Cloud Provided Services (Azure AKS)Qualifications Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities): Deep understanding Azure services: Offerings, pricing, structure, roadmap, etc. Working Knowledge of Kubernetes and Cloud Provided Services (Azure AKS) Deep understanding of Cloud Infrastructure Tools and implementation (Terraform) Deep understanding of cloud, data, and infrastructure security, including risk assessment and mitigation. Expertise in automated application deployment and monitoring At least 3 year s of experience delivering continuous integration and other agile practices in a production software setting 5+ years working in DevOps related roles Passion for technology and innovation Can thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment; ability to work in a strong team environment to deliver on detail as well as strategy Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly at executive levels Analytical and negotiation skills Excellent analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities, including experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.Education/Training Requirements: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent working experienceVacancy expired!
