Highly respected full service Environmental Consulting firm providing a wide range of environmental consulting, landscape architecture, and environmental planning services to local governments, public agencies, and private clients; actively seeks a environmental consulting industry experienced Technical Editor / Project Coordinator / Front Desk Administrative Support professional to join our thriving Roseville, CA office.

Our diverse environmental staff comprises a wide range of technical specialists, including regulatory specialists, biologists, botanists, wetland scientists, planners, landscape architects, certified arborists, GIS specialists, and graphic designers. This unique multidisciplinary mix of expertise allows us to integrate human uses, aesthetics, and functionality in our projects with key environmental considerations such as treatment of stormwater runoff, habitat and special status species preservation, green house gas reduction, and water conservation.

Our firm provides the full range of project cycle services from initial concept, public input facilitation, and detail design through cost estimating, construction drawings, specifications, bid coordination, construction oversight, CEQA/NEPA environmental documents, permitting, and monitoring.

Ideal background, skills, and experience for this Environmental Office Technical Editor / Project Coordinator / Front Desk Administrative Support role:

- Ideal candidates will have past experience working within an Environmental Consulting office environment in technical editor, project coordinator, or front desk administrative support role.

- A minimum of 3-5 years of administrative or publishing experience in word processing, formatting and editing complex documents, and report production is required.

- Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

- Candidate must be proficient in Adobe Acrobat; Windows 10; Windows 7; MS Office 2016 including MS Word templates and styles and Excel; and Gmail.

- Familiarity with MS Access and MS Publisher is preferred.

- Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks daily, be detail-oriented, and have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Overall role and job responsibilities in this Environmental Office Technical Editor / Project Coordinator / Front Desk Administrative Support role:

Technical Editor / Production Coordinator Responsibilities: include ensuring that all technical reports and documents produced comply with established professional standards for style, format, and content. Candidate must be detail-oriented, and demonstrate abilities to think critically, problem solve and effectively communicate with multiple project team members. Duties include proof-reading, editing, and formatting documents and graphics, and all aspects of report production.

Front Desk and Administrative Support Responsibilities: Duties include answering and routing telephone calls, greeting visitors, receiving and distributing mail and faxes. Other responsibilities include preparing the daily calendar, tracking flow of paperwork, maintaining project files, and assisting with miscellaneous accounting functions. Candidate may also assist with maintaining library materials, scheduling appointments, ordering supplies, and making travel arrangements.

COMPENSATION:

Salary Range: $34,000 - $52,000 per year (but flexible and open to negotiation). This is a long term full time employment opportunity.
