DescriptionAccountemps is partnering with a company in the construction industry looking for a QuickBooks consultant. In this role, you will be partnering with the companies Operations Manager and Bookkeeper, looking at the way they are utilizing QuickBooks, and offering suggestions on ways to streamline and improve processes.This position may be a fully remote positionMajor responsibilities
Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Preside over and review general ledger
Review payments and deposits received in system
Aid bookkeeper in generating financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Guide business owner in streamlining QuickBooks processes and procedures
Requirements
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
Advanced QuickBooks proficiency
Construction Industry experience
