Accounts Payable Specialist

DescriptionA company located in Salinas that provides fresh seafood to the Monterey Peninsula is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist that will join a well-established team and be an essential part of this reputable company.Some duties include:-Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department-Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis-Operate full-cycle A/P-Carry out additional tasks as assigned-Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents-Provide support to internal business partners-Help with internal and external audits as required-Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handlingRequirements-AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred-Prior experience in an A/P role preferred-Be detailed, flexible, and organized-Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds-Expense reports experience-Proficiency in QuickBooks-Expertise in Microsoft ExcelIf you are interested in this position, please apply online and call ACCOUNTEMPS at (831) 241-9042.Accountemps matches highly skilled professionals with accounting finance jobs at the best companies on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
