Tech Writer Industry: Retail/Ecommerce
Responsibilities - Work with designers and product managers to build consistent brand, voice, and tone style guides for interactive voice assistants (IVA) to support the clients NLP stack. - Design, author, and build new IVA conversations and experiences in the clients NLP tools. - Write technical materials, such as API documentations, manuals, or operating and maintenance instructions for products/tools - Write, publish and maintain high-quality help content and messaging - Manage the production and publishing of documentation. - Collaborate with engineers, product managers, developer relations to work on given projects - Identify user needs, use cases and metrics to focus priorities. - Write, edit and properly position white papers, presentations, think pieces and other content for a variety of internal and external audiences. Qualifications Minimum qualifications: - BA degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, a related field or equivalent practical experience. - 3-5 years of experience writing software documentation in a web production environment. - Writing and editing experience. Must be able to provide writing samples - Ability to take initiative and require minimal supervision Preferred qualifications: - Experience working closely with engineering and product management teams as part of the software development process. - Experience in working with interactive voice assistants, chatbots, and IVR technology - Experience in writing API documentation and help guides - Track record of problem solving and innovation.If interested, please contact EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
