AI and Computer Vision Startup led by seasoned and successful entrepreneurs builds vision appliance and cloud archival solutions for untapped, >$1trillion market in the United States. (yes, $1 Trillion+ market!)A very technically challenging to build product fuses video streams from multiple camera arrays. The streams are also parsed and archived to the cloud for future customer reference. Computer vision automates highly manual and labor intensive, error-fraught and costly problem.We seek a seasoned and Lead computer vision algorithm engineer to work with cameras' image sensors (3 different wavelength cameras) to lead the effort and ultimately disrupting this massive market.Role:

  • The role includes a comprehensive research on the problem statement, proposing the potential solution to the team, build the initial prototype, validate and iterate until the solution meets the accuracy and performance metrics.
  • Publishes computer vision solution API and incorporates it across the stack
  • Mentors other CV Engineers and researchers
  • Partner closely across the engineering team and the sr. management in the design and development of new technologies
  • Provide subject matter expertise on AI, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Math.
  • Python and / or C development.
Qualifications:
  • MS or Ph.D. in machine learning, computer vision/science, math, or related with 3+ years of experience in building computer vision solutions for the industrial use case.
  • 8+ years of experience with machine learning, computer vision algorithms, and framework to solve object detection, object recognition, object tracking, optical flow, multi-view geometry, synthetic data generation, simulation, etc.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in software engineering, object-oriented designs, and principles, data structures, algorithms.
  • Strong, proven coding, debugging, and performance tuning skills in python, C/C.
