Job Details

Web Software Engineer
  • As a Web Software Developer you'll be a core member of the development team, helping with all aspects of software design and coding. You'll attend meetings, provide input into software design, write code, fix bugs and assist senior developers with tasks. Your role will give you the unique opportunity to float between development, UX design, and new business development.
  • Reports to Head of Projects and Head of IT
  • Learning codebase and improve coding skills by writing and maintaining code
  • Use Source Control Systems to manage project resources
  • Provide support to projects through documentation, code implementation and refactoring
  • Work as part of a Project Team to deliver Complete Solutions as directed by the Project Documentation and Project Management
  • Provide support to Quality Control through research, documentation, and code refactoring
  • Perform self and peer based code reviews as well as providing unit testing
  • Provide research and input for project development roadmaps
  • Attend status meetings for projects and report on health of work or assist as needed
  • Maintain updated documentation
  • Availability during scheduled deployments for hotfixes
  • Contribute to evolving and refining the implementation process
  • 2 - 5 years experience
  • Knowledge of common web coding languages - HTML/CSS/JS, back end skills a plus!
