Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
Compensation: $18 per hour
Position Overview:
Our Lady’s School is seeking a caring, reliable, and energetic Playground Aide to support our 3rd – 8th grade students at our North Campus during morning arrival, recess, and lunch periods. The Playground Aide helps create a safe and positive environment for students, supervises outdoor play, and assists with student needs throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
Supervise students before school, at recess, and during lunch periods to ensure safety and positive behavior.
Engage with students by promoting fair play, conflict resolution, and inclusion during games and activities.
Support staff with set-up, clean-up, and transitions during lunch and recess.
Enforce school rules consistently and fairly, modeling respect and kindness.
Communicate effectively with teachers and administrators regarding student needs or concerns.
Provide basic assistance to students as needed (e.g., helping open lunches, minor first aid with nurse support).
Tutor 3rd through 5th grade students working on basic reading and math skills
