Carlsbad Country Day School is looking to hire a full time preschool teacher for our preschool program, Monday - Friday from 8:30-5:30. The position pays $18 - $23 an hour to start plus medical benefits, a 401k, 5 weeks of Paid Time Off per year, reduced childcare, and more.

Right now, CCDS is following all the guidelines for social distancing. We are running at a 1:10 ratio with a consistent class daily.
In addition to your hourly rate, you will be paid an additional $75 per week in hazard pay.
During the crisis, the state of California has removed all the requirements for early childhood education units. Although this is still our preference, we will consider qualified candidates with a BA in any subject; or experience in the field from another state.
Candidates with a multiple/single subject teaching credential or master’s degree will be paid more for their education.
