NOW HIRING FOR 5 days a week SUMMER SURF CAMP
Surf Camp going on now. Goes to Friday August 17, 9:50-1:30 Monday to Friday.
OUR WISH LIST for your qualifications:
At least 5 years surfing experience, more is better!
In college or graduate, or plans to attend college.
NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
We can easily train you in our methods. We have written guidelines for instructors. As long as you are energetic, professional, and have surfed for a while, you will do fine. We are not looking for professional surfers or contest surfers, but people who have surfed a long time, 10 years or more, or if you are young, more than half your life. If you are second generation surfer, ie, your parents surf, then that is also what we are looking for. If you are a contest or professional surfer, that is fine too.
If you have LIFEGUARD, EMT or CPR certifications, that will increase your chances of working.
WE ALWAYS CONSIDER WAY LESS THAN THE ABOVE QUALIFICATIONS, OUR "WISH LIST" FOR INSTRUCTORS, we look at all past experience and personalities, don't think you are disqualified because of the above criteria.
Pay is $40-$55 for a three and a half hour daily + tips. ($225-$275/week + tips for half days) 2 hour group surf lessons (winter time) pay $40 plus tips. We will train you in our method, along with our written guidelines.
