Piper Companies is looking for a Manual/Automation Tester for a Financial Investment company San Diego, CA
EXPECTATIONS- Ensures product meets end-user and stakeholder requirements on a sprint-by-sprint basis.
- Collaborates with product owners and software engineers to develop acceptance criteria and testing requirements.
- Develops and maintains manual test suites to ensure overall quality at the customer / application level.
- Provides guidance to offshore manual test resources and monitor performance.
- Promotes the adoption of new processes, test tools, and new technologies to improve the overall efficiency of the team, consistency of our testing approach, and quality of releases.
- Automates testing strategies to guide efforts based on available resources and deliverables.
- Utilizes test tools and harnesses to validate the quality of the system.
- Participates in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint plannings, backlog groomings and retrospectives during two-week sprints.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Six years of Quality Assurance experience required.
- Experience in manual test case development and test case tools, Practitest preferred
- Experience in cross-browser testing, BrowserStack preferred
- Experience in native mobile app testing
- Experience with acceptance criteria expressed in Gherkin format
- Understanding of relational databases and database architecture with in-depth knowledge of Transact-SQL for performing easy to moderately complex database queries
- Experience running and monitoring Automation Tests
- Knowledge of SCRUM or other agile methodologies
- Financial technology industry experience a plus
- $100,000-$125,000
