Cleanroom Technician to support our cutting-edge Pharmaceutical Client in San Diego, CA. Title: Cleanroom Technician (Pharma) Compensation: Competitive hourly rate Location: San Diego, CA Type: Long term contract Industry: Pharmaceutical Responsibilities:- Coordinates sampling and labeling of raw materials and components with Quality Assurance.
- Issues raw materials and components for batch manufacturing.
- Performs various inventory transactions on the ERP system. Responsible for supporting complete and accurate inventory transaction documentation and files.
- Maintains required segregation, security, labeling and storage conditions for all inventory materials.
- Maintain proper levels of material in the weigh and dispense area.
- Performs routine cycle counts
- Performs weigh and dispense operations utilizing protocols and SOPs by weighing required quantity for each material according to Batch manufacturing Record.
- Use computer system and weighing balance equipment to provide accurate and complete documentation as per company approved procedure.
- To affix appropriate label on dispensing materials and transfer dispensing material to appropriate storage area.
- Maintains clean, organizing and safe warehouse and dispensing areas.
- Stores raw materials, in process used materials, other supplies and equipment.
- Operates material handling equipment in the movement and storage of materials.
- Performs label verification, in-process fill volume, and conducts in-process visual inspection.
- Practices Aseptic Technique on a consistent basis to minimize contamination in the Class C areas.
- Properly use light industrial production equipment such as heat sealers, cutting equipment, and other equipment to facilitate product manufacturing.
- Accurately complete batch record documentation, all appropriate logbook entries and GMP documentations.
- Must be able to work on your feet for 8 hours a day.
- Follows Standard Operation Procedures, Safety Policies and current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure a complaint state of the areas.
- Adheres to strict product quality standards, including Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices cGMP.
- Two-four years of experience in production or manufacturing environment, with primary focus on productivity and repetitive tasks in a clean room environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Familiar with a GMP operation and requirements.
- Good written, oral, and interpersonal English communication skills.
- Must be computer literate and proficient with ERP inventory transactions.
- Requires ability to work in an organized and detail oriented fashion.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities- self-motivated.
- Ability to provide clear information effectively to peers in day to day work relationships.
- Willing to work with chemicals and hazardous goods.
- Knowledge of handling temperature sensitive products including exposure to environment in cold storage areas.
- Must wear various PPE including a respirator.
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs. and ability to manage multiple responsibilities- self-motivated.
- Familiarity utilizing scales, fume hoods and solution baths.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Worked in a clean room environment.
