About the Role

The engineer in this role will be supporting the R&D team responsible for developing the product lines that have launched this company into their success. This is a tight-knit team comprised of innovative and creative thinkers.

The person in this role will be spearheading both product development and product improvement projects - setting project scope, liaising with key stakeholders (both internal and external), managing deadlines, and ensuring appropriate resources are being utilized.

One of their key responsibilities will be managing and creating DHFs for key products, so an understanding of the connection between R&D and the commercialization of medical devices is key!

Job Qualifications

  • B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or other Engineering Sciences
  • At least 2 years of medical device industry experience
  • Experience with creation of Design History Files; understanding of connection between R&D and commercialization of medical devices within regulatory framework
  • R&D experience within the medical device industry
  • Background in project leadership
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations ISO 13485, 21CFR Part 820
  • PMP certification preferred
