Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking an IT Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position is located in San Diego, CA. The second level Computer Systems Analysis Manager is responsible for the functional management of a diverse team of about 15 systems administrators, network engineers, and desktop support technicians across several operational sectors. Responsibilities will include interfacing with Enterprise Services program management, sector senior staff, and program management; working closely and collaborating with the Security organization team; effectively interacting with other members of the Classified IT support team to optimize strategies in support of the customer's goals and objectives; plan, execute, and report on several organizational metrics designed to insure compliance with Government regulations to include RMF, JSIG, and other compliance requirements; provide functional leadership with staffing vacant positions and insure challenging assignments and opportunities. Coordination with other program staff located at other geographic areas is critical to successful performance. Basic Qualifications Master's degree with 7 years of IT experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 9 years of IT experience; OR an Associate's degree with 11 years of experience, OR a High School diploma/GED with 13 years of experience is required Must have 1 year of leadership experience as either a Lead, a Mentor, a Supervisor, or a Manager of one or more individual contributors Must have a current DOD 8570 IAT level II baseline certification (example: Security+ CE) Candidates must have a current DOD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered Must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment Must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, a Top Secret security clearance as a condition of continued employment Preferred Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Information Technology, a Security+ CE, 9 years of experience managing IT Infrastructure, and 2 years of supervisory experience within a classified environment Experience with System Administration and/or network administration Customer-focused with proven leadership and excellent communication skills Ability to provide strategic direction regarding our IT products, processes, applications, and technology Work experience with UNIX/LINUX systems Work experience with Windows systems General understanding of network topology and operations Work experience with RMF compliance requirement Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Active DoD Top Secret security clearance, or an active DoD TS/SCI, is highly desirable Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
