Description:This position is for a customer service call center position with a Pharmacy Benefits Management company. Typically, the calls are made up of 90% inbound calls and 10% outbound (to follow up) calls. There are 3 different queues: Medicare Part D - taking calls from members that have Medicare Part D, answering any questions regarding prior authorizations, co-pays and general medication questions. This side of the call center requires great customer service skills, compassion, patience. The other side is the Member calls, which come from members of many different insurance companies regarding general pharmacy questions – such as: co-pays, prior authorizations, etc Lastly, there’s the Physician/Pharmacy side, which handles all calls from pharmacies and physicians. Ability to be professional and have an understanding of pharmaceutical coverage, relevant data entry and terminology, etc. is preferred. Representatives will be taking up to 80 calls a day and will be monitored on quality and accuracy. Typical volume might range from 50-100 calls a day depending on complexity. Ability to be tech savvy and utilize multiple systems/programs to track information and update communication with customers is ideal. High quality Customer Service experience, a t least a year of high-volume call center experience, or strong tenure in a retail/restaurant setting, and typing skills of at least 30wpm is required.
