Job Description:The Clinical Imaging Specialist is a vital role in the support design and management of software hardware and databases for clinical imaging systems used in clinical practice and / or research. This position will support a secured network for the transmission of patient information workstations for interpreting and reviewing images and archives for the storage and retrieval of images and reports. This position will provide technical assistance to end-users and support the Enterprise Imaging Informatics team.The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional who knows how to apply theory and put it into practice with in-depth understanding of the professional field independently performs the full range of responsibilities within the function possesses broad job knowledge analyzes problems / issues of diverse scope and determines solutions.The candidate will leverage their experience as a clinical imaging systems professional with a broad understanding of clinical imaging systems and apply their skill to support projects and day-to-day support of applicable systems.

Position Responsibilities Maintains and supports software hardware and / or databases for at all levels of complexity Activities include data integrity and utilization file management workflows end user needs and integration of data streams Troubleshoots escalated issues of moderate complexity in regards to hardware / software performs research as needed to address challenging problems Works on project teams to customize functions implement software algorithms integrate systems develop and conduct quality assurance tests and determine need for appropriate upgrades Designs and conducts training in workflows and processes hardware and operating systems to improve user productivity and efficiency Stays current on regulations advances and trends in the field of clinical imaging

Required Qualifications 3 years of experience in a Healthcare Imaging and / or Healthcare IT-support role of the Radiology Department Thorough understanding of the operations and workflow of clinical imaging systems Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience and / or training Strong background in clinical imaging and Radiology workflow Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications Experience with Ophthalmology Cardiology Pathology and Perioperative support and /or workflow Experience in the deployment and support of Picture Archive and Communications System PACS
