Job Description
As our Housekeeper, you will have the opportunity to provide a peaceful and tidy environment which directly affects our patents ability to get better. Responsibilities- Responsible for preparing rooms and living quarters for the clients.
- Conducts and maintains the laundry services for the bedding materials and bathing towels.
- Inspect and report all safety hazards and infection control issues to the supervisor.
- Change client linens as required.
- ensure cleanliness and sanitization.
- Coordinate daily housekeeping services with the nursing department when performing routine cleaning assignments in patient living and/or recreational areas.
- Check exit doors regularly to ensure access is free and blockage is removed.
- May also be assigned other tasks and duties necessary to ensure cleanliness and sanitization.
This is a
full-time position that will work 7:00-3:30pm.Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- 8th grade education, High School graduate or equivalent.
- 1-2 years similar experience in a residential facility.
- Maintains a positive and respectful attitude with all work-related contacts
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
