Job Description

Employee Responsibilities:

  • Position is full timeMonday - Friday; some weekend work-sharing will be required for dosing
  • Performs all regulatory responsibilities in compliance with applicable regulatory standards
  • Works with Immunology clients to ensure studies are conducted according to the protocol and any applicable guidelines/SOPs
  • We will train in many of the technical responsibilities for proficiency
  • Small rodent handling
  • Small rodent PO, IP, and SubQ dosing
  • Tissue collection
  • Ex-vivo ELISA, RNA extraction, and Nanostring assays
  • Reads, understands, and follows final study protocols
  • Responsible for performing in vivo procedures
  • May become responsible for supply ordering, study preparation, and data capture protocol generation, as needed
  • Completed data review of in-life data for accuracy and completeness against the protocol
  • Responsible for ensuring that all study data and materials are organized and archived appropriately at the end of the study
  • Responsible for use, maintenance and calibration of equipment
  • Follows instructions and behaves ethically

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

  • Ability to follow procedures reliably and consistently and elevate relevant issues, as appropriate
  • Prior experience handling small rodents and expertise in PO dosing
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Adept in Microsoft office
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • At least 1 year ofexperience with in vivo testing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’ degree in Biology, Chemistry or other related degree concentration and 1 year of relatedexperience
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of La Jolla, CA are encouraged to apply.
