- Design, Develop and Debug software for medical devices primarily in JAVA
- Fix software anomalies(bugs)
- Develop unit tests
- Participate in code and design reviews
- Write software requirements and design documents as needed
- Participate in verification testing as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical engineering/Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of Android development experience preferably in regulated industry
- Proficient in JAVA, Basic Knowledge of C/C
- Strong software development and debugging skills
- Proficiency with Android development tools and SDKs
- Strong UI Android development skills (custom controls, views, fragments)
- Experience with Model, View and Controller pattern
- Experience with SQL database
- Experience with common SDLC processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in Android NDK and Espresso Framework
- Knowledge of multithreaded programming is desired
- 2+ years of experience developing embedded software (C/C or Java)
- Knowledge and use of debuggers and system profiling tools is desired
- Familiarity with Agile and SCRUM methodologies
- Experience releasing full commercial android application on google store
