JOB SUMMARY:Performs individualized nursing care for patients and families under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practitioner. Practices basic assessment skills, data collection, participates in planning, executes interventions in accordance with the plan of care, and contributes to the evaluation of outcomes. Assists the team with educating and communicating plan of care to patients and families.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma, GED or foreign equivalentOne year of experienceLicensed Psychiatric Technician or Licensed Vocational Nurse (California)BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHAPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Associate's DegreeThree years of experienceBilingual SpanishPrevious acute care Medical /Psych experienceThe current salary range for this position is $27.45 to $38.75A candidate’s placement in the range will be determined based on the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
