You will see a medium variety of patients including patients aged 5 and up. Your primary responsibilities will be to assist with patient check-ins and check-outs, point of care duties including vitals, injections, and immunizations, and also assisting with patient insurance companies. Here you will have an opportunity to see a wide variety of acute care patients, with patient volumes of 25 per day on average. This position is Full-Time, working variable 8-hour shifts Monday – Friday between the hours of 6am and 9:30pm, including weekends from 7:45am – 5:30pm. May need to float to other Health Express sites as needed.

//Required Qualifications:
Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program OR hold a Medical Assistant Certification OR have a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman.
BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year MA experience in an outpatient setting
Pediatric experience preferred but not required
